I am located in Kitty Hawk, but am an on-site photographer. I come to your rental location or desired location for session

We do family portraits, senior portraits, maternity sessions, non-family group sessions, and more. Pets? No problem. We love furry family members!

Most full family sessions take around 45 minutes depending on the family size.  Mini family sessions are 20 min. The larger families/groups take a little longer. The most important factor is understanding what shots your family/group want to capture. We will make sure that your ideas are incorporated into the session. We often hear how fun and fluid the sessions are. We take pride in making the most effective use of our time with your family/group during your session.

I gladly accept all major credit cards via phone or website, Venmo, and PayPal (which allows you to use credit card). Final payment I will accept cash which is my preferred method.

We typically do one to two sessions per evening. One at 6:00-6:30pm and one at 7:00-7:30pm. The setting sun as your backdrop is what we are shooting for. We bump these times forward as the summer ends. Yes, we also do sunrise sessions!! We highly suggest you ask for a day earlier in your vacation week. This way, we can reschedule in the case of inclement weather. And the kiddos have less sunburn too! :-)

We typically watch the radar and will reschedule your session time for another time that same day or another day to accommodate such occurrences. If there are no available days/times due to weather, your deposit will be refunded.

• Should you need to cancel due to other reasons, the deposit will not be refunded but you will be able to use that credit toward a future session.

Regardless of family size, my fee includes my travel to you (up to 1.5 hour each way), session, professional editing, online photo gallery, print release, and all digitals.

Solid colors are preferred. No stripes or patterns, if possible, but pastels, coral or turquoise colored tops with khaki bottoms during the summer and earth tones during the fall/winter really add a beautiful accent to your photos.  The most popular colors to wear are soft yellow, teals, and tangerines. These softer colors simply scream summer fun, sunshine, and smiles. BUT be careful not to mix these colors with neons or patterns. You also can't go wrong with the traditional white tops and khaki bottoms.

During your family or group session, you can expect there to be a mix of well-posed formals to the fun candid photos that show the laid back, non-posed side of the family, enjoying their time on the Outer Banks! Your formals are the prints that typically hang in your home for all your friends and family to admire, while the fun candid photos are great for social media as well as vacation scrapbooks and photo albums

We typically charge by family size or group. Please contact us for specialized pricing that accommodates your needs.

• I require 50% deposit to confirm the day and time, with remaining due at the time of service.

All edited photos will be sent to the email address on file through PixieSet. This link to gallery is valid for one year and can be shared with family and friends; there are no limitations to the amount of sharing.

PixieSet will give you a walk through of the gallery, such as printing, downloading, sharing, etc. However, in the top right corner of the gallery there is a downward facing arrow, just click on that icon to start the download. You will have 2 options for download, full resolution and social media sizes.

There will be two options for download:

Full resolution: this is recommended for printing purposes as it gives you the quality you are paying for, which can accommodate large scale printing.

Social media (small): this is good for sharing on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. This option scales down the size as most websites have a size limitation.

• Yes. Each photo will allow you to choose size of print, quantity, and add to shopping cart.
• PixieSet partners with the top printing companies worldwide, such as MPix, Millers, Loxley Colour to name a few.
• The printing company will be chosen by PixieSet at the time of purchase, based print types chosen.
